About Contract Connect

A Central Indiana general contractor that prices the work before anyone shows up, puts the number in writing, and stays accountable through completion.

What we do

Contract Connect is a general contractor serving the Indianapolis metro. We handle remodeling and home repair across sixteen categories — kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, roofing, siding, windows and doors, flooring, decks, fencing, interior and exterior painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, handyman work, and custom projects.

We are the contractor on your job, not a lead-generation site. When you hire us, one company writes the estimate, assigns a project manager, coordinates the trades, pulls the permits, and answers the phone if something goes wrong. You are not handed off to three strangers who bid against each other and then disappear.

Why we built the estimate this way

The normal way to get a price on home work is to invite three contractors into your home, wait a week or two each, and then compare three documents that do not describe the same scope. You cannot tell whether the cheapest bid is a better deal or a smaller job. That process wastes weeks and it hides the one thing you actually want to know: what is this going to cost, and what am I getting for it.

So we moved the pricing to the front. You upload photos, answer questions about the work, and our estimating system builds a scope and prices it item by item against current professional construction cost data for the Central Indiana market. You see a real priced scope in minutes, with a price beside every task, before you have committed to anything and before anyone has been in your house.

The online estimate is not the final number, and we do not pretend otherwise. It reflects what your photos show and what you tell us. A project manager then visits, inspects conditions firsthand, confirms or corrects the scope, and that confirmed price is what goes in writing.

The price lock

Once your price is locked in writing, we do not exceed it. There are exactly two things that change it:

Standard permit fees are included in your written price. Specialty permits for unusual projects — variances, floodplain or historic-district review — are quoted separately once we know what the jurisdiction requires.

How we work with trade partners

Licensed trades — plumbing, electrical, HVAC — are performed by licensed professionals. Before a trade partner joins our network we require and verify current Indiana licensing where the trade requires it, general liability insurance, and workers' compensation coverage where it applies. We re-verify annually, and if a partner's coverage lapses they stop receiving work from us.

That is a verification process, not a guarantee about another company's conduct. What we do guarantee is our own: Contract Connect holds the contract, Contract Connect is responsible for the work, and Contract Connect's written workmanship warranty is what you rely on. The warranty term for your specific project is stated in your estimate before you sign.

Your home's record stays with you

Every estimate, project, repair, permit, warranty, and photo we touch becomes part of a record of your home — your Digital Home Passport. Systems and their ages, what was installed and when, who did it, what is still under warranty, and the full service history. The point is that you never have to re-tell us things we already know, and you own a documented history of your house instead of a shoebox of receipts.

That record is HomePassport, and it comes free with your first project. A paid HomePassport plan is optional: it adds priority scheduling, member pricing, maintenance reminders, and repair protection on the systems you choose. Current plans and pricing are on the plans page.
